SUNDAY, JULY 14, 10 - 4
DESCRIPTION:
A family oriented festival that brings local talent (art, music, food, dance..etc!) to the town core ... & beyond.

AN INVITATION TO PARTICIPATE
  • Stops: With the exception of Cassandra III, a Steampunk Display and Emporium located on Cty Rd 21 and the 416, Stops should be located within walking distance of the town core. Please send a description of what you propose to offer to mary.moore@cedarlanestudio.net.
  • Artisans/Artists: Describe your product and the hands-on (on-site creating) you would plan. We will run rain or shine (we may make some adjustments), so you will be responsible for providing your own pop tent protection and set up.
  • Performers: Please note this is a volunteer opportunity – but we would be OK with a tip jar. Including the audience would be great too! Please contact Mary at the email below for details. We will need to coordinate.
  • Participants will develop their own agenda and offering. A committee of participants will help coordinate scheduled events to avoid any glaring overlaps in key events.
  • A map will be prepared & distributed to detail and locate each ‘Stop’. Advertising will be the responsibility of each participant through Social Media - identifying graphics will be shared.
  • SBCC will host ‘Art in the Park’ at Riverside Park as our contribution to the event. We are planning the following: Children’s art, music and dance activities; inviting our two neighbouring art guilds (NGAG & SGAG) to each set up a group booth at our location (at no cost);  inviting local dance groups (English Country, line dancing) to perform/participate; we will invite a few other vendors to our location - looking primarily for hands-on artisans & artists; a lemonade stand managed by Helen Piper, with the help of a few kids...we are still in the planning stage!  We would like to ask for street closure to outside traffic, but with access to the Mill parking lot and museum. If you would like to help out our location, or contribute in a creative way, please contact mary.moore@cedarlanestudio.net.
